Sharing medical stories across borders.

We are a group of like-minded doctors, therapists, and nurses creating a forum for healthcare professionals in the U.S. to connect with people from across the globe.

At The Storyteller & the World, we understand there are different medical models to treat health conditions. We’ve come together to supply easy-to-understand and accessible educational content that teaches people to effectively assess and treat a wide range of afflictions in diverse contexts.

That’s what motivates

S&tW Vision.

To connect and nurture health care providers on a global scale through research, evidence-based medicine, and efficacious therapy practice fit to each medical model.

Our Mission.

We seek health care problems and establish international collaboration and partnerships to solve these problems.

We seek research opportunities and use collective discernment to determine feasible research designs and impactful aims.

We respect and learn from different cultures and people and will use that knowledge for good amid medical and clinical, therapeutic practice.

We seek opportunities for funding and will use collective discernment to determine best use of funding as related to the holistic goals of S&tW.

We listen to the desires and needs of patients and families; we will do good; we will seek to prevent harm, and we will be fair and equitable in our distribution of education, care, research foci, and funds.

We seek to provide educational opportunities for physicians, therapists, nurses, health care providers, and health care/medical students.

We seek to provide educational opportunities to patients, families, and caregivers worldwide.

We seek to connect art and creative projects to the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations and/or the mission and vision of The Storyteller & the World. Artistic endeavors will merge art with social good.

Our History.

Sometimes, experiencing the different leads to creative development of universal medical and clinical practices.

A trip to India changed our perspective. Seeing first-hand how medicine was accomplished in a unique but resource-strained medical model and a successful collaboration where mutual learning emerged, urged us to make a similar experience
possible for others.

And that we did. Along came The Storyteller & the World:
A non-profit organization seeking to share doctors’ and therapists’ knowledge with those in need in a locally responsible, understandable, and reasonable way for each specific
medical model.
